Justin W Capp Engineering and Design is proud to announce the purchase of our new Faro Focus 3D laser scanner! This is an exciting piece of technology that, when combined with Trimble RealWorks software, will allow us to capture highly accurate measurements of existing structures to produce manipulable, photorealistic 3D images of reality – a powerful asset when working on modifications to previously constructed buildings.
The Faro Focus 3D works by rapidly firing a highly accurate laser rangefinder beam while rotating in a spherical fashion. Based on the angles of the device’s line of sight and the distance data gathered by the beam, the scanner generates a three-dimensional digital image of the scanned structure.
Thanks to the acquisition of this innovative piece of technology, we are pleased to announce that Justin W.
